You’re probably going to dress more conservatively for an office party than a girls’ night out, so cover your bases and add a few different styles to your holiday shopping list.
If you’re not sure about an event’s dress code, look up the venue online. Their website and social media should give you a good idea of whether to opt for a formal evening gown or something more fun and casual.

If you’ve got a busy schedule with lots of events and limited time to shop, go with a Little Black Dress. I love this sequined mock neck from Alexandre Vauthier. Versatile and elegant, a black dress can carry you through the rush of the holiday party season.
Pick One Shimmer
Glitter is a holiday staple, but the last thing you want is to overdo it and look like a disco ball. That’s why it’s best to stick with one shimmery tone in your outfit–don’t mix a glittery top with sequined bottoms or a metallic purse.
